Welcome to Precious Cargo Academy
Precious Cargo serves the community as a childcare facility that stresses excellence in the field of early childhood education. We are certified through the Early Learning Coalition as a School Readiness Provider and as a Voluntary Pre-K provider. All of our teachers receive the Child Care Giver Training implemented by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families and the majority of our teachers have their Childhood Development Associate degree (CDA). Precious Cargo Academy is licensed by the State of Florida (License #Co8CO6543). We are A.P.P.L.E. accredited and recognized by the D.C.F. as a "Gold Seal" center.
Our Educational Program
Our Educational Program is based on the Creative Curriculum, which is a research based curriculum designed specifically to meet the educational, development, social, emotional and physical needs of our children. Every classroom, regardless of age, contains multiple learning centers for a large variety of ways to learn.
A very important piece to our program is Parent Involvement. There are many ways for you to be involved with your child's learning including participating in special events in the classroom, being a part of our Parent Committee, and donating your time and knowledge for special presentations.
