Church School - Sundays, 11:00 am,
We began the New Year with our new curriculum, Rescue 911. This theme is being used for all age groups in age appropriate ways. We are learning through different Bible stories how God is our Rescuer and challenging them to think about how these stories relate to their own lives.

Children and youth are an important part of Naples United Church of Christ. We encourage them to serve, learn, and enjoy fellowship with others. It is our desire to educate children to make an educated personal choice in their faith.
We offer many programs during the year to help them with their Christian journey. We welcome all preschool and elementary children to Sunday school. The children begin with the 11:00 am worship service (10:00 am service in the summer) with their parents, grandparents, or friends. Following the children's sermon, we leave for Sunday school in Nelson Hall. Our Bible lessons are interactive and encourage the children to develop and share their faith. Nursery and childcare for children under the age of 4 is available during Sunday worship services, as well.
Junior Disciples is our Christian based after-school program for Kindergarten through grade 5. We meet on Wednesday afternoons, from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., and offer recreation, snacks, small groups, and choir. The children's choir sings monthly in the Sunday services. In addition, there is also an annual musical, all under the direction of Dr. Becky Weese.
The Middle School/High School Youth Group meets every Sunday from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm in Nelson Hall. After a combined worship and prayer time, the middle school and high school students meet separately to address current issues that are pertinent to the youth in these age brackets. Confirmation Class is offered for those entering the 8th grade.
Special Events: Throughout the year, we go on field trips to the beach, water parks, concerts, and go on kayak adventures. In the fall, we have a "Trunk or Treat" Halloween Festival, and in the spring, an Easter Egg Hunt. And, in June, we have a one week Vacation Bible School open to the community. Volunteers from the church, parents, and the Directors participate in all aspects of the program. This year we had a record number of volunteers helping make this event very successful. Because we teach the importance of serving the community, we encourage youth participation in some of the five service projects we have throughout the year.
