is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual well being of the congregation, by making the Sunday morning worship space a friendly, caring, and welcoming one. The Diaconate is comprised of deacons, who help our Ministers conduct Sunday worship, distribute communion, and prepare the Sanctuary and Narthex for memorials, funerals, and special services. Greeting worship attendees, and seeing to the weekly guest registers, pew pads, and altar flowers are also functions handled by the Diaconate. One of the Diaconate's most important areas of service is ushering. Ushers provide a ministry of hospitality and care. In welcoming every person, ushers help set the tone for the worship experience.
