Membership

The membership of Naples United Church of Christ is open to all who seek to follow the way of Jesus. Our fellowship includes people from many faith traditions who have found in the United Church of Christ a place of welcome and affirmation. Our congregation of just over 1,100 includes people from across the nation and the world who make Naples their home year round or seasonally. We come together from our unique journeys seeking to grow in love. Families with children are a lively and growing part of the mixture of our church family, along with a large number of regular and occasional visitors worshiping with us each Sunday.

The membership process begins with a Guest information Brunch, which is offered several times throughout the year. At this meeting, information about our church, its mission, and the structure of its boards and committees are discussed in an informal atmosphere of fellowship. A class on UCC traditions and theology is offered the following Monday, facilitated by our Senior and Associate Ministers. This class is open to anyone who wishes to attend. During worship the following week, new members are welcomed into our congregation.

For those who wish to keep a church membership elsewhere, Associate membership is offered. Associate members at Naples United Church of Christ have the same rights as full members.
