The congregation of Naples United Church of Christ has over 1,000 members with about two-thirds full time residents of Naples, and one-third seasonal residents. Members come from all walks of life and all parts of the country - and from a wide variety of religious traditions. Families with children are a lively part of the mix. A large group of regular and occasional visitors participates in worship and programs. New Members are welcomed into the congregation eight times a year. Prospective members are invited to an orientation luncheon after worship on a Sunday, and then join formally during the worship service the following week. For those who wish to keep a church membership elsewhere, associate membership is offered. Associate members at Naples United Church of Christ are able to vote, join boards or committees, and participate in all of the functions and services of the church.

Your presence at worship, and sharing in the spirit found here, is important to us all. We hope you will find safe haven, good friends, and answers to those questions that rest in all of our hearts as we walk our paths in spiritual growth.

Our new season is approaching quickly, and we are ready to greet each and every new visitor and friend who worship with us and participate in our activities. It's also time for all of you to prepare for the numerous classes and programs you have been requesting and waiting for. Our new brochures are in the creation process, so by the time many of you return, you will find a number of brochures and calendars awaiting you.

Below is the new Orientation Schedule for the full season. We are very excited to be offering more opportunities for our visitors and friends to learn about our church. Along with these sessions, we are creating a Power Point Presentation that will be used within each Informational Gathering Session. The classes listed on Mondays are not only for those who are planning to join, but are open for all members and friends who wish to learn more about NUCC and our purpose here. Please feel welcomed to attend.

Visitor Information Brunches provide new members with an opportunity to meet others who will be joining, to meet our committee chairpersons, to hear about our church missions and activities, and to learn more about the history of the United Church of Christ. The brunches are held in Nelson Hall following the last worship service of the morning.
