Music Ministry

At Naples United Church of Christ, music is a ministry we take seriously. It is an opportunity for members of all ages to engage in services through our intergenerational choir.

In addition to providing wonderful music for Sunday services, our Music Committee offers musical programs including the Sanctuary Concert Series and Tuesdays at Twilight. These programs are supported primarily by our Music Gift Fund, supported by donations.

Sanctuary Choir

The music ministry seeks and encourages talent from within the congregation. The Sanctuary Choir, which rehearses Wednesday evenings for two hours, provides a variety of music for our Sunday morning services. They also provide special music during the Advent/Christmas season and during the Lenten/Easter season. Joining our Adult Hand Bell Choir is another great way to participate in our music program.

Children and Youth Choirs

The Children’s Choir at Naples United Church of Christ meets every Wednesday afternoon as part of the Junior Disciples program. Children’s Choir is designed to awaken the awareness and enjoyment of music for each child. Basic concepts of music are taught, and the children’s choir sings for worship several times during the church year.

The Youth Choir, open to youth grades six through twelve, meets on Mondays, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. during the schoolyear in Beverly Hall. We practice the “Body-Mind-Spirit-Voice” philosophy, knowing that it takes the whole person to sing and rejoice! Youth choir is a great way to connect, to make friends, and to serve God and the church.
