The congregation of Naples United Church of Christ has over 1,000 members with about two-thirds full time residents of Naples, and one-third seasonal residents. Members come from all walks of life and all parts of the country - and from a wide variety of religious traditions. Families with children are a lively part of the mix. A large group of regular and occasional visitors participates in worship and programs.
New Members are welcomed into the congregation eight times a year. Prospective members are invited to an orientation luncheon after worship on a Sunday, and then join formally during the worship service the following week.
For those who wish to keep a church membership elsewhere, associate membership is offered. Associate members at Naples United Church of Christ are able to vote, join boards or committees, and participate in all of the functions and services of the church.

UCC THEOLOGY Class
On September 29, we are offering a new class, The Theology of UCC. It will address the history , the organization, and the foundational ideas of The United Church of Christ. We offer this class to all members and all visitors. For those who are considering membership, we strongly encourage you to participate. It will be a wonderful opportunity to seek and find answers. Class hours are 2 pm, and 6pm, and will be held in the Chapel.

NEWCOMERS
Our New Comer's gatherings are growing, as are the relationships we are building through our monthly gatherings. In August, we met at a local restaurant, and it was a tremendous evening. Twenty one new members, with our ministers, had the opportunity to eat, drink, laugh and plan, and as the season arrives, we hope more of you (who have become members in the last 18 months) will join us. In September, we will be switching our night to the first THURSDAY of each month, and will be meeting on Sept. 4th . Call Susan at the church for location.
