OUTREACH & VOLUNTEERING

Guided by the Board of Mission and Outreach

As a mission-driven church, we believe in following Christ’s calling by living in service to the wider world. Through outreach and volunteering, we use our time, talents, and gifts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

( 1 Peter 4:10 )

*Let us know you are interested in volunteering, and we'll send you a list of current opportunities.

Grace Place for Children and Families

Naples UCC’s monthly “Cans for Communion” food collection supports the children and families of the Grace Place community in Golden Gate. Nonperishable food donations are collected before each service on Communion Sunday—the first Sunday of every month. Our generous contributions help provide food and other essential support to families in our community. Volunteers are also needed to help unload donations from arriving cars and sort the food for collection by Grace Place. Each spring, Naples UCC collects backpacks and school supplies for the children of Grace Place to help them begin the school year ready to learn. Watch for collection dates and information about needed items in Naples UCC weekly e-blasts and Sunday bulletins.

Meet Our Mission Partners

““Christ has no hands but our hands to do Christ’s work today, no feet but our
feet to lead others in the way.”-
St. Teresa of Avlia

Naples UCC provides financial support to a wide-range of non-profit organizations serving families and communities in Collier County and overseas. Through prayerful discernment and thoughtful analysis of community needs, Naples UCC cultivates meaningful relationships with its mission partners. Funding for the Board of Mission and Outreach’s work comes from the generous donations of the Naples UCC congregation, special holiday and event offerings, and proceeds from the Bargain Box.
